Christ is a Great Savior

In 1779 John Newton, a former slave trader who repented of his sins and became a preacher once said:

“Although my memory's fading, I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.”

That statement is true of all of us.  We are all sinners and Christ is the only one who can save us.
